George Clooney Matrimonio

George Clooney is an American movie actor, musician, director, writer and philanthropist. He’s been the recipient of a number of Golden Globe Awards and several Academy Awards, most notably for his portrayal of Alex Cross. In recent years, he has been the topic of several critical reviews and has been nominated for Oscars eleven occasions. He currently ranks ninth among all actors of all time in terms of total number of Oscar awards received.

After studying acting at the University of London, Clooney went to study drama at the University of California, Los Angeles. There he met future wife Amalaya Clooney, who was then employed as an assistant director on the movie Napoleon Dynamite. After leaving the college, they worked together on the film, winning the Oscar for this.

Following that success, Clooney decided to make his name more known by starring in some well-received films. One of these was the Vanilla Sky, which didn’t do so well at the box office. But, it was a critical success on the way to winning him an additional Oscar for his second film. Along with the similarly themed Apartment Zero, this was the start of a long string of Oscar winning films. The next movie in his career was The Deerhunter, which was also well received by critics and won him a fourth Oscar for his work in it. Following these successes, other similar movies followed including Man on the Moon, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Bruce Almighty, and Signs and Stones.

As a director, Clooney has written or co-written the scripts for some of his movies. His first picture in this genre was Rainmaker. This was made by his friend, the late Charles Bronson. His next film to star him was A Few Good Men, which didn’t do so well at the box office, but was a hit in the viewer’s eye. The money failed to flow in the picture’s coffers, however, and it was not expected to do very well.

Following that, Clooney decided to focus on dramas rather than comedies, but he’d star in a couple of comedies, such as 1997’s Man on the Moon, which was directed by Steven Spielberg and cast him alongside Ben Affleck. While the film failed to perform very well at the box office, it was a beloved film by those who saw it. He also featured in the 1998 movie Webster, which was nicely critically acclaimed. Following this, Wes Anderson’s Grand Budapest Hotel was released, which starred Clooney as the title character.

Then he teamed up again with Spielberg for the Film Jurassic Park. This time, the film did quite well at the box office, earning him an additional Oscar nomination. Jurassic Park ranks as the highest grossing film of all time, and its success remains today. Other major budget franchise movies have followed in its footsteps, such as Harry Potter and Star Wars. In actuality, all these films were produced during the golden age of blockbuster filmmaking, and George Clooney has certainly had his hands in quite a lot of memorable ones.

However, it was The Game which truly defined what a George Clooney movie should be. The movie was directed by Clint Eastwood, and it was considered to be among the greatest films of its time. It told the story of an aging retired athlete that tried to lead a normal life after being diagnosed with cancer. The movie featured prospective actors such as Jeff Bridges and Bill Murray.

Whichever film you prefer, it’s possible that you will find at least one movie from the illustrious career of George Clooney. His movies will continue to be remembered by generations of Americans. After his stint with Hollywood, Clooney goes on to star in several independent films, such as Seabiscuit and Labor Day. He would then turn his attention to films directed by fellow Hollywood screenwriters, such as author Paul Newman and director Carlito’s Way.
