George Clooney is an American film actor, musician, director, author and philanthropist. He has been the recipient of several Golden Globe Awards and lots of Academy Awards, most notably for his portrayal of Alex Cross. In recent years, he has been the topic of several critical reviews and has been nominated for Oscars eleven occasions. He currently ranks ninth among all actors of all time in terms of total number of Oscar awards received.

After studying acting at the University of London, Clooney went to study drama at the University of California, Los Angeles. While the movie failed to perform very well at the box office, it was a beloved movie by those who saw it. He also featured in the 1998 movie Webster, which was well critically acclaimed. Following this, Wes Anderson’s Grand Budapest Hotel was released, which starred Clooney as the title character.

He then teamed up again with Spielberg for the movie Jurassic Park. This time, the film did quite well at the box office, making him an additional Oscar nomination. Jurassic Park ranks as the highest grossing film of all time, and its success continues today. Other major budget franchise films have followed in its footsteps, including Harry Potter and Star Wars. In fact, all these films were created during the golden age of blockbuster filmmaking, and George Clooney has certainly had his hands in quite lots of memorable ones.

But, it was The Game which truly defined what a George Clooney movie should be. The movie was directed by Clint Eastwood, and it was considered to be one of the best films of its time. It told the story of an aging retired athlete that strove to lead a normal life after being diagnosed with cancer. The film featured prospective actors such as Jeff Bridges and Bill Murray.
